Electrical Workers Contract

Aspeq is pleased to advise that it has been awarded a contract with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) for Electrical Worker registration examinations.  We will provide examination services from the beginning of May 2018, which will start with paper exams and then move to computer exams. Aspeq will be working closely with MBIE and the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) for the introduction of the exam services.

Mike Lynskey, Aspeq’s Director of Business Development, says, “We are extremely pleased to be selected to provide the electrical workers examinations.  The service is an excellent addition to those that we currently provide to various professional and trade sectors in New Zealand and will complement the examinations we will provide to plumbers, gasfitters, and drainlayers in mid 2018.  We look forward to working with MBIE and the EWRB to provide an outstanding service to the industry”.

The EWRB promotes safety for all New Zealanders by ensuring the competence of electrical workers. Simon Robb, Registrar of Electrical Workers says, "We are excited to be working with Aspeq to deliver quality examinations that meet the needs of trainees, as well as providing the industry with confidence about the qualifications of potential employees."
